Mono LEF power amplifier without degenerative feedback. On the one hand a traditional mono power amplifier with fixed gain, on the other hand an innovative DIGM power amplifier with lossless variable gain.
The ideal amplifier should be highly permeable to the flow of music, while the technical characteristics take a back seat. B.M.C. Audio therefore does without degenerative feedback, which just conceals occurring problems, and instead uses an amplifier design based on a circuitry that offers low distortion and is thus suitable for music playback. This circuitry is characterized by the following unique features:
LEF = Load Effect Free: The single-ended class-A signal transistor of the output stage can do its job unaffected by the load and thus works without distortion.
DIGM = Discrete Intelligent Gain Management losslessly adjusts the gain to the required amplification.
CI = Current Injection is a balanced signal input that uses the original input current until it reaches the speaker output voltage. This input handles the nuances of music signals with outstanding sensitivity.
The perfect interplay between LEF, DIGM and CI leads to a new dimension of music playback, which is free of technical dissonances while providing you with the full power, beauty and authenticity of music.
All supply voltages that come from the 2-kilowatt toroidal transformer are stabilized, including that for the power section. This ensures a significantly profounder inner quietness, while also offering an unshakable power supply for explosive dynamics.
Because of separate amplifiers for each channel, mono amplifiers naturally offer maximum channel separation.
